TEA Formation

TEAnimal

Meet the TEAnimal characters.

The children and adults of Vale da Harmonia meet again across different stories. Each has their own interests, friendships, boundaries, and way of taking part.

Characters

Children of the Vale

They are friends with very different ways of playing, talking, and taking part. In the stories, none of those ways is the only right one.

Jojo

A curious, affectionate, talkative autistic fox. She enjoys turning small discoveries into conversations, games, theories, and adventures.

Leo

An autistic lion who enjoys music, sounds, and rhythms. He notices details in sounds that others miss, but can also feel overwhelmed.

Pipo

An autistic otter who enjoys patterns, stones, rhythms, and systems. He communicates his ideas, intentions, preferences, and humor in different ways.

Marcos

A curious, energetic autistic monkey who learns about the world by doing, testing, building, and turning ideas into concrete experiments.

Cora

An autistic rat who enjoys words, facts, books, and rules. Precise and logical, she asks questions to investigate what is still unclear.

Alice

An autistic wolf who chooses her friendships carefully and values her space. She is very playful with people she knows well. She also enjoys collecting tiny things.

Luke

A bee who notices routes, distances, and connections between people and places. He enjoys shared projects and chooses when to join in, rest, or do something else.

Adults of the Vale

Marta, Helena, and Sr. Miau have their own stories, relationships, and mysteries too. They support the children even when they do not have all the answers.

Marta

A welcoming bear who enjoys caring for her home and hosting the community. She offers company, food, and rest while respecting everyone's choices. She also keeps jars of magical honey.

Helena

A kangaroo and teacher at Escola Safári. She enjoys exploring questions through experiments and discoveries, and adapts her plans when something does not work as expected. She has a mysterious pen that writes by itself.

Sr. Miau

An autistic adult cat who enjoys reading, tending his garden, and keeping his routines. His travel journal holds stories from a mysterious past. He is experienced, but can also make mistakes and ask for support.

Differences are part of the story.

No single character represents the entire autistic experience. Different ways of communicating, breaks, routines, headphones, and other supports are part of their lives and are respected in the stories.
