In the TEAnimal universe, everyday life is realistic, with a little magic in certain places and objects. That magic opens possibilities, and the characters keep their autonomy, their way of communicating, and their support needs.
Jars of honey
Marta's honey can change the perceived flavor of food to a chosen or familiar flavor. This magic invites exploration without deceiving or forcing anyone to eat.
The pen that writes by itself
The pen connected to Helena really does write by itself, although its explanation remains open. Some characters believe in magic; others are still unsure.
The travel journal
Sr. Miau's journal records trips that really happened and at least one crossing between worlds, always as he tells them, and he can be wrong too.
